2024 The GREAT ESCAPE DEAL – $250 TRAVEL REWARD CREDIT PROMOTION

 

1. THE PROMOTION

 

1.1 *Offer valid from Fri, Aug 16th to Thurs, Sept 26th, 2024. Receive a $250 travel credit (the “Reward”) with the purchase of an EOS RP Mirrorless Camera (body & kit configurations) or any select Canon RF series lens (see Eligible Products in Schedule 2 below) from an Authorized Canon Dealer (a “Qualifying Purchase”). Limit one (1) entry and one (1) Reward per household. Participants must complete the microsite online application form and upload a photo of their receipt and product barcode within thirty (30) days of the Qualifying Purchase as indicated on the receipt (“Application”). The uploaded receipt must clearly show the date and total purchase value, or it will not be accepted. The Participant has until Tuesday, December 31^st, 2024 to redeem their full credit before the Reward credit expires. The reward cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. The reward can only be used to redeem a $250 travel savings from Creditfortravel.com. Offer valid to residents of Canada who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Offer subject to changes and available while supplies last. The full value of Credit For Travel Reward may not be able to be applied in one transaction and is dependent on the property chosen, dates, and other variables. The Participant is responsible for the full remaining balance after the Credit is applied. A credit card is required to complete a travel booking. 2. THE PROMOTER

 

2.1. The promoter is Canon Canada Inc. with its registered head office address at 8000 Mississauga Road, Brampton, ON L6Y 5Z7, Canada (“Canon”).

 

3. DISCLAIMERS

 

3.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.

3.2. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.

3.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

3.4. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3.5  Canon, its associated companies, affiliates, suppliers, advertising/promotion agencies, and any other entity or entities involved in the development, production, administration or fulfillment of this promotion, and each of their respective agents, employees, directors, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will not be liable for: (i) any failure of the Canon website or any other site during this promotion; (ii) any malfunctions or other problems of any nature whatsoever, including, without limitation, those relating to the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; (iii) the failure of any Promotional Product registration, opt-in and/or other information to be received, captured or recorded for any reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website; (iv) any injury or damage to a Participant’s or any other person’s computer or other device related to or resulting from participating in this Promotion; and/or (v) any combination of the above.

3.6  By participating in this promotion, each Participant hereby: (i) confirms compliance with these terms; (ii) releases the Released Parties from any and all liability in connection with this promotion and his/her participation therein; and (iii) agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of his/her name, statements about the promotion and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of Canon in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet.

 

4. DATA

 

4.1. By participating in this promotion, each Participant expressly consents to Canon, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using any personal and other information submitted only for the purpose of administering the promotion and in accordance with Canon’s privacy policy (available at the link below).  This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide Canon or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information. Canon is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal data submitted to Canon will be processed by (a) Canon and its third party supplier Benamic Ltd, IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, for the purpose of administering this promotion, and, if applicable (b) by Canon and its associated companies for marketing purposes- in cases where Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. 5. LAW AND JURISDICTION

 

This promotion shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.  The forum for any disputes relating to this promotion shall be the Province of Ontario and you agree to attorn to the courts in the Province of Ontario and they agree that all legal proceedings in respect of this promotion shall be commenced and maintained only in the courts of the said province.
